Rumors started circulating last February that Lady Gaga would launch her own beauty brand when her company trademarked the name Haus Beauty for what looked like a cosmetics company. When asked about the trademarking, Lady Gaga had nothing to say on the matter until Tuesday when the first promo video for her brand, Haus Laboratories was uploaded on her Youtube Channel.

The line is set to launch sometime in September although there is no exact release date yet. The new video showcases Lady Gaga along with a unique variety of models sporting looks that we can expect from the brand. There are lots of pigmented eye shimmers, lipsticks, glosses and maybe even some eyelid decals in which we all know, Gaga loves.
What we are most excited about is Haus Laboratories creative director is Gaga’s celebrity makeup artist, Sarah Tanno. She’s responsible for many of the most notable looks we’ve seen on Gaga. Hopefully we will get to see some great make-up tutorials with both of them when more details are to come on the launch!

The brand will be first launching make-up palettes as well as a lip gloss that will be sold individually. Expect a lot of bright colors, glitter and great textures as far as the make-up formulas go. The palettes will include products for eyes, cheeks, face and lips with the palettes starting at $49. The lip gloss will be available for $16.
Haus Laboratories will be sold exclusively through Amazon which is big news for the online retailer. It will be the first cosmetics brand sold only through Amazon. Amazon has been making moves to take on big beauty brands like Sephora and this partnership will definitely help solidify Amazon as a key player in the beauty industry.
The video promo suggests that the line will be available for pre-order starting July 15.
