Billie Eilish Has Had To Pull Her Fashion Line

It’s fair to say that Billie Eilish is one of the most famous women in the world right now. The 17-year-old singer has taken the music realm by storm over the past few years, and there’s no doubt about the fact that she has also become a fashion icon thanks to her oversized style and her eccentric look. A Capsule Collection

In the first week of August 2019, Billie Eilish confirmed something that fans had been waiting months for. She noted that she was releasing a capsule collection with Siberia Hills, and it’s safe to say that everyone was extremely excited. This capsule collection was going to encapsulate her style as a whole and would feature a few hoodies and T-shirts that featured the Nozomi Tojo anime character. However, some people couldn’t help but think this design shared a resemblance to another artist’s work.

Stealing The Work

As more and more people began to suspect that the design team had stolen the work of an artist by the name of Makoto Kurokawa, Siberia Hills decided to speak out. They noted that they had used the work for Billie’s designs, but that she was not aware of such plagiarism. They confirmed that they were the “creative forces” behind the collaboration and that Billie had simply signed off on the products. They also wrote that the items would not be released in light of the news.

Most fans of the singer were upset to see that she had been dragged up in such controversy but noted that it was the only fair resolution to plagiarism. Perhaps there will be a new collection in the future?
