When you think about Fashion Week, there’s a high chance that you immediately think of the event in New York. However, you might be interested to know that the Big Apple isn’t the only city to host this prestigious celebration of fashion. Copenhagen Fashion Week is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, and this is everything we learned during the Spring/Summer 2020 event.

Prints Are In
Spring and Summer months are normally saturated with floral prints and floaty colors, but it seems as though next year is going to be a little different. Copenhagen Fashion Week has shown us that prints are definitely going to be in, but not the kind of prints you’re used to. We’re talking about snake skin prints, prints that involve lobsters and sea creatures, checkered prints, and even some bedazzled rhinestones. It definitely won’t be boring.

Fabrics Are Everything
When you put together an outfit, you probably don’t think too much about the fabrics. However, this is all going to change next year. This Fashion Week has shown us that designers are focusing more and more on texture and layering. This means that you’ll be able to rock the ruffles, you’ll be able to wear multiple layers, and you’ll be able to wear fabrics that are soft and floaty on your skin. After all, it’s always better when your outfit is comfortable.
Copenhagen Fashion Week gave designers the chance to show off their collections for next year, and there’s no doubt about the fact that they impressed. Although you might have a few months to wait, it’s time to start dreaming of beautiful prints and impressive fabrics. After all, you need to be prepared to be the most stylish one on the block.
