On the spring 2018 runway, we saw the neons, salmons, peaches and muted tones that have continued over into the fall season. With the likes of Kendall Jenner rocking the color so well and as seen at Fenty x Puma, designers cannot get enough of orange being the new black.

Forget millennial pink or Gen Z yellow, the extensive shades of orange have already made an interesting style statement and will continue to do so into next season. Head of womenswear buying at Harvey Nicols, Hazel Catterall, says, "Strong statement colors have been an enduring trend for several seasons, and orange felt very fresh and a new take for autumn." She continues, "It’s a really versatile color, so it’s unsurprising this is the new pink."

Stand-out looks at the Fenty x Puma show saw models wearing bike shorts, industrial belts, and combat boots, giving the brand a utilitarian upgrade. At Versace, the use of a single shade of bright tangerine was able to be interpreted into a full look, and Adam Selman used a vibrant sunset orange on a slip dress which gave the color a luxe metallic sheen. It has also transcended seasons, becoming a vibrant summer choice and will turn to a muted terracotta for fall clothing.
